Welcome to the Kerry Mountain Rescue Website!
Kerry Mountain Rescue
Team was formed in 1966 following the deaths of two climbers
on the mountains of Southwest Ireland, and since then has come
to the assistance of numerous climbers and walkers in distress.
This site will introduce you to the team and its activities.
We hope you enjoy it!
If so, please visit us again and tell your friends about us. Safe
mountaineering!
KMRT
is pleased to announce that it has been selected as one of the
nominated charities to benefit from the 2013 Ring of Kerry Charity
Cycle, which takes place on 6th July.
A
good day out is guaranteed and the event is open to cyclists of
all abilities, although as the route is 112 miles long it is strongly
recommended that you get some training in first!
If
you are interested in participating on behalf of KMRT please ring
087 1798412, or email
us.
